Pre-Departure Meeting held for Waste Trade Mission to the Netherlands

On Wednesday 4th of October, a pre-departure meeting was held at the Netherlands Embassy in Accra for the Waste Trade Mission which is travelling to the Netherlands in October. 20 company representatives from the Ghanaian Waste and Sanitation Sector are travelling to the Netherlands to get new ideas and technologies, find equipment and possible investors or business partners. 

The mission will take place from 22 to 28 of October 2017. Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources Hon. Joseph Kofi Adda will also join part of the program in the Netherlands. Together with representatives of the Netherlands Embassy and the Environmental Service Providers Association of Ghana (ESPA), the mission delegates will visit Dutch companies, government agencies and project sites. 

A matchmaking session with companies who have an interest in doing business in Ghana will also be organized during the week. Dutch companies who are interested in meeting this Ghanaian delegation, can meet them at a matchmaking event at the Recycling GO 2017 Trade Fair in Gorinchem (NL) on Thursday 26th of October. 

This trade mission is organized by PSPS Consultants from the Netherlands and GNBCC in Ghana. The mission is an initiative of Netherlands Embassy in Ghana and funded by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
