Visit the Holland Pavilion at the Agrofood West Africa Fair this week!


From December 5 to December 7, the 4th edition of Agrofood West Africa will be hosted at the Accra International Conference Centre. GNBCC, NABC and GhanaVeg, with support from the Netherlands Embassy, are organizing a Holland Pavilion, which will display the know-how and expertise of the Dutch Agrofood sector.

The Holland Pavilion includes both companies from the Netherlands and companies based in Ghana, including GNBCC and NABC members. The companies in our pavilion will be:

  • Wienco Ghana Ltd / Aduanehene: joint venture Ghana-Dutch Company involved in businesses in the Agricultural sector. Producer and distributer of locally grown Aduahene and Copa jasmine long grain rice in Ghana.
  • Bio Ghana Network: The Bio Ghana Network brings together certified organic exporters and importers into an association for the purposes of advocacy, promotion and development of organic production, processing and marketing (both local and exports).
  • IWAD Ghana Ltd: active investor in Northern Ghana focusing on the introduction of large scale modernized irrigation and mechanized farming practices. Our vision is to expand commercially viable irrigation practices in Northern Ghana through the delivery of high quality irrigation support, new technology development and knowledge transfer, promoting water and energy use efficiency, sustainability and securing farmer revenues for both Smallholders and Nucleus Estates
  • Celtic Cooling Ltd: Experienced international supplier of professional cold rooms and energy-efficient refrigeration systems, specialized in engineering tailor-made solutions and implementation of turn-key facilities for every possible purposes within the various industrial sectors, together with a strong after-sales service and maintenance.
  • Tikola Ghana Ltd: company active in the distribution of hybrid vegetable seeds adaptable to lowland tropics, plastic mulch and nursery trays and other inputs. Works in collaboration with hybrid seed producer East West Seed from the Netherlands.
  • Iribov West Africa (D.Invitrolabs Ghana): Plant tissue culture production for farmers in Africa. Tissue culture is a laboratory technique for fast propagation of plant material. Plants produced are identical to the parent and free from diseases.
  • Suba Seeds Group (Netherlands): a leading global provider of vegetable and legume seeds for contracted production with leading seed companies and in-house production.
  • Delphy (Netherlands): Delphy stands for Worldwide Expertise for Food & Flowers. Through this, Delphy is the company in knowledge and expertise for our partners in plant sectors, worldwide.
  • OTC-Organics (Netherlands): specialist in organic fruits and vegetables. With over 15 years’ experience in import, export and distribute fresh organic fruits and vegetables we are the perfect supply chain partner. From sourcing, purchasing, quality control, storage, packaging, logistics, sales and after-sales: supplying the best organic produce begins and ends with OTC-Organics.

The program at the Holland Pavilion is the following:

  • 5 December (fair open 10.00 am – 6.00 pm): Opening and Matchmaking

Opening of the fair, welcome by the Ambassador of the Netherlands at 10.00 am; matchmaking with Dutch companies 3.00-5.00 pm, opening cocktail at 6.00 pm

  • 6 December (fair open 10.00 am – 6.00 pm): Seminars

Seminar 1: Greenhouse Farming Opportunities in Ghana, by Delphy Agri Impact Consulting (1.00-2.30 pm)

Seminar 2: Organic Farming and Exporting, by Organic Trading Company Holland and Quin Organics (2.30-4.00 pm)

  • 7 December (fair open 10.00 am – 4.00 pm): Final day of Exhibition

The West Africa Agrofood Fair will showcase record participation of 90+ exhibitors from 21 countries so as to develop business opportunities in the local agro industry.
