Part of the mission will be the visit of the Agrofood Plastprintpack Exhibition in Lagos (27-29 March). The 4th edition of this international Trade Show on Agriculture, Food & Beverage technology, Food Processing, Bakery & Sweets, Packaging Technology and Food & Hospitality will feature numerous local and international companies from the Food and Agricultural industries. With almost 2,000 professional visitors in 2017, the Nigerian AgroFood Expo is the perfect place for Dutch companies to meet industry professionals, share the latest trends and technologies, and strengthen business partnerships.

Within the Holland Pavilion at the Nigerian Agrofood Expo there will be Holland Lounge (39m²) that will function as a dedicated meeting place for the participants of the trade mission. The following activities will be organized within the Holland Lounge during the 3 days visit to the exhibition:

  • Expert Workshops
  • Network Reception
  • B2B Matchmaking in cooperation with our local partner Asoko Insight, Nigeria. Asoko has a database of over 3000 business contacts in Nigeria.

The Holland Lounge is an open area within the Holland Pavilion and offers Dutch companies the opportunity to present their products, technology and expertise to visitors, network, and have B2B meetings with (new) customers. In addition to participating at the Nigerian AgroFood Expo, NABC will organize company visits on Monday 26th of March and Friday 30th of March 2018 in and around Lagos. The specific company visits will be based on the preferences of the companies that register for the trade mission.

Why join the trade mission?

  • Nigeria is Africa’s largest economy and has major influence in the region
  • It has an attractive consumer market due to a high population of 189 million
  • It also has the biggest market for food products in Africa - still undersupplied
  • Agrofood Exhibitors profit from investments in the Nigerian agricultural sector, the country's decreasing dependence on oil revenues and an increasing demand for Agrofood machinery, equipment and Agrologistical solutions
