VIA Water Café- Ghana

On Thursday, the 13th of June, 2019. VIA WATER, a program of Aqua for All organized its final Café for its current portfolio of grantees in Ghana. VIA Water, a program funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has supported 60+ innovations on water and sanitation challenges across eight countries in Africa.

In Ghana, the program has supported about 10 innovation projects. The café took place at the newly built Ghana Innovation Hub, operated by MDF West Africa. The café organization and facilitation was done locally by Ghana Netherlands Business Council through its representative Barnabas Apom.

The objective of the Café was to bring together the different projects and offer them the opportunity to network, share and learn from each other on their innovation projects. A training session was also organized during the café to revisit some of the key concepts of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and work on improving the existing business models of the participating organizations.
