GNBCC Membership Invoices 2020

Dear GNBCC Members,

1st of all Gelukkig Nieuwjaar,  Happy New Year, Afehyia Pa !! Hope to see most of you at our New Year Drinks next week.

As of this week all Premium, Business, and Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Members will receive their 2020 Membership Invoices.

As from the 1st of January 2020, the following changes concerning Membership and Membership invoices will be implemented:

An amount of US$ 10 (equivalent in Ghana Cedis) will be added to the Membership fee as Bank transfer fee to offset the bank charges which are deducted from the received  Membership fee. Members who pay in Ghana by cheque or cash do not have to pay the transfer fee.

All Membership invoices will be issued with a Net 90 - Payment 90 days after the invoice date, when no payment has been received by the 30th of June 2020 the GNBCC Membership will be terminated by the 1st of July 2020.

Ad 1) Although it was announced this year to all Members to kindly remember to include bank transfer charges to all transfer payments so we receive the exact Membership amount, a considerable number of Members did not adhere to this advice resulting in losses for GNBCC.

Ad 2) At present the cut-off date for non-paying Members is the 1st of October; this is unfair to Members in good standing who pay within 90 days. Also, the old rule offers Membership benefits to non-paying Members far too long.

The above was decided by the GNBCC Board on their Board Meeting of Thursday the 5th of September 2019 and communicated in our Newsletter in September as well as November.
