PwC Tax Alert - Recent Amendments To The Revenue Administration Act, 2016 (Act 915)

In line with the measures announced in the 2018 National Budget, The Parliament of Ghana has amended the Revenue Administration Act, 2016 (Act 915) to enhance the existing tax amnesty framework around misstatements and establish the Independent Tax Appeals Board. The Independent Tax Appeals Board will be new in Ghana and seeks to ensure that tax disputes between the taxpayer and the Ghana Revenue Authority are handled by an independent body before the courts need to intervene. The Amendment Act, Act 1029, by its gazette date is expected to be effective from 6 October 2020.
