The European Union Delegation in Ghana (EUD), in partnership with the Ministry of Finance (MoF), Ministry of Trade and Industry (MoTI), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration (MFARI), Ghana Exports Promotion Authority (GEPA) and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), as well as the European Business Chamber (EuroCham), the Ghana Agribusiness Chamber, Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), have the pleasure of inviting you to the 2nd edition of the Ghana-EU Business Forum that will take place on the 3rd and 4th of July 2024 at the Marriott Hotel, Accra, Ghana

The Business Forum provides a platform for robust engagement among policy makers and private sector operators from Ghana and Europe, and represents a renewed opportunity for the EU, its Member States and private sector from Europe and Ghana to engage on their investment agendas in a transparent and inclusive manner with a view to fostering confidence and commitment to a stronger and sustainable partnership. 

The agenda for the two-day event includes 

• A plenary on Ghana’s business environment 

and investment opportunities under the EU’s 

Global Gateway strategy, and sectoral value 

chains panel discussions, among others. 

• The official launch of the Special Measure on 

the Ghana component of the Team Europe 

Initiative on manufacturing and access to 

vaccines, medicines, and health technologies 

in Africa, with a highlight on vaccines (MAV+).

Booths for Ghanaian and EU business support services, banking products and services and EU-financed projects of support to private sector. 

• Dedicated Exhibition area: A specific area will be allocated for approximately 50 business booths, ensuring an even representation of Ghanaian and EU products. This area will be designed to facilitate easy navigation and interaction between visitors and exhibitors. 

• Themed booths: they will be set up that reflect brand identity and product uniqueness. This could also include interactive displays, product demonstrations and mini workshops. 

• A networking cocktail 

Investment opportunities in the following sectors will be highlighted: 

• Pharmaceutical & health • Agriculture/agribusiness • ICT/Digital Sector 

• Renewable Energy • Automotive 

• Textiles and garments
