Opportunity Suppliers of Herbal and Fruit Infusions

Dear GNBCC Member, 

Our partner the Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC) is currently assisting the world’s leading supplier of herbal and fruit infusion with identifying and sourcing organic medicinal and aromatic produce from specific African countries. For this reason, GNBCC is assisting NABC in  identifying Ghanaian farmers who might benefit from this opportunity.

The detailed opportunity can be found below: 

The Opportunity: 

  1. Secure long-term exclusive 100% off-takers partnership with a global supplier
  2. Secure technical assistance for establishing pilot/model organic farms (new growers) 
  3. Secure technical assistance: agronomic practices & international organic certification

Profile of ideal growers (Criteria): 

  1. Minimum size of farm: 100 hectares (at time of entering into agreement) 
  2. Minimum annual volume: 100 tons of dried produce (time of entering into agreement) 
  3. Cultivation method: Organic  
  4. Capable of managing commercial farm 

It is acknowledged that the profile might not be wholly aligned with the “profile of ideal growers” as stated above. Nevertheless, the NABC is willing to engage with current and potential growers with access to a minimum of 50-100 hectares of land to determine how best we can assist them strengthen their profile and thus be eligible.  If an enterprise is selected, it will enter the interview stage where more information will be shared about the supplier.
