Yango, Beaver Health Group launch ‘’Wellness on Wheels’’ for partners

International ride-hailing and mobility service, Yango, has partnered with Beaver Health (GNBCC Member) , a renowned healthcare and wellness service provider, to make available subsidised health and wellness services for its partners, partner drivers, couriers and their families in Ghana.

The partnership, which is on ‘’Wellness on  Wheels’’, was launched last Wednesday at a signing event held at the Beaver Clinic in Accra.

At the launch, Yango’s partners, partner drivers and couriers went through free health and wellness screening and extensive medical advice.

The Country Manager for Yango in Ghana, Tom Ofonime, emphasised the company’s commitment to provide opportunities for all to access health and wellness services regularly.

He mentioned some of the services which will be available to the partners, drivers and couriers to include regular health check-ups, consultations with healthcare professionals, and preventive screening to help maintain and improve overall health.

That, he said, was part of the company’s agenda which aimed at making the lives of Ghanaians easier and better through technology.

He said “We are proud to partner with Beaver Health to launch the ‘’Wellness on Wheels’’ programme for our Yango Partners, partner drivers, couriers and their families.

We believe in supporting the well-being of all our key stakeholders, and this programme is a testament to our commitment to their health and wellness.”

Mr Ofonime said the beneficiaries will not only have access to discounted health services, but they will also have the opportunity to receive personalised health recommendations and guidance to help them lead a healthier lifestyle.

High quality service

The CEO of Beaver Health Group Obi Ilogu, described the partnership with Yango Ghana, which is part of the global tech company, as a valuable union and pledged to deliver a holistic healthcare service essential to the wellbeing of all who participate.

“The partnership with Yango is valuable to us, and we aim to deliver holistic healthcare to these essential members of our society who provide critical transportation services.

It's crucial for us to offer high-quality service through our bespoke 360-degree healthcare solutions, ensuring they receive the assurance and support they need for long-term well-being,” Mr Ilogu said.

Appreciation

The beneficiary partner drivers and couriers expressed their gratitude to Yango and Beaver Health Group for this initiative and pledged to utilise the opportunity to its fullest, ensuring that they were healthy and safe to go about their day to day activities.
